Trevor Brymer
Trevor Brymer has been involved with the Computer Graphics and Visual Effects industry since 1987.
In 1996 he created and ran his own animation studio, Pyrokinesis, with two other business partners. producing computer animation and visual effects for television.
In 1999 he took the position of Visual Effects Supervisor at Sector 14 Limited and oversaw the production of the visual effects for two seasons of the locally produced sword and sorcery TV series Dark Knight, and a 26 part animated/live action Maori Legends television series.
Trevor then moved to Weta Workshop where he developed the rendering of a pencil drawn look for the children's animated TV series "Jane and the Dragon". He provided the VFX Supervision on this show overseeing the design and implementation of a unique motion capture/animation production pipeline, as well as seeing the production through to completion of the first 26 part series.
He is currently VFX Supervisor at Weta Productions and has recently completed the new animated TV series "The WotWots".
