Luke Reid
Luke Reid is Areo's CEO and the inventor of Areograph. He has been running tech-based companies since he was 17, starting with Entropy Creations, an early p2p software that was, for a time, one of the most popular downloads on the Internet. Entropy went on to develop an online Learning Management System, DRM software, downloadable 'desktop apps' and other Windows software. In 2000 Entropy created software that was to be spun out to form the London-based company Skinkers in 2001.
As co-founder and CTO of Skinkers Reid developed and deployed applications for clients such as the BBC, London Stock Exchange, HSBC, Wall Street Journal, and hundreds of others. He is the author of several published patents with many more filed and in the works.
