Nigel Scott
Nigel Scott is a senior sound operator at Park Road Post Production. Nigel was a music editor for all three films in the multi Academy Award winning The Lord of the Rings trilogy and was the music coordinator for Peter Jackson's King Kong.
Since joining Park Road he has worked on the music for many local and international projects including The Lovely Bones, District 9, Under The Mountain and Rain Of The Children.
Scott's 15-years of sound editing experience spans feature films, TV, commercial and theatrical. He first trained at Waikato University in Computer Science. Following this he did further training as a theatre technician at the New Zealand Drama School where he has tutored Sound For Film for the last 10 years. His theatre sound experience has also seen him working across the world as a theatre sound designer and engineer as well as being involved in many New Zealand based productions.
