Jeff Braun
A true veteran of the video game industry, Jeff Braun has passionately pursued his vision and dreams in a never ending quest for innovation in interactive entertainment.
In 1988 Jeff Braun co-founded Maxis with Will Wright. Under Jeff's leadership as Chairman and CEO, Maxis became world famous for its Sim branded video games; including SimCity and The Sims. Maxis had a tremendous influence on the video game industry by inspiring a new genre of open ended “sandbox” games that offers players god-like control.
Maxis was acquired by Electronic Arts in 1997 and Jeff became SVP North American Studios at EA. Since leaving EA, Jeff has served many innovative and supremely talented entertainment technology companies, as a strategic advisor and as a board member.
