John Wander
John is the Founder and General Partner of Next-Gen Ventures, a micro-cap venture fund focused on seed-stage web, mobile, cloud-based, and new media companies. In addition, John is the Founder & Managing Director of Giantstep Angel Network, a start-up accelerator and angel investor network sharing the same focus as Next-Gen Ventures. John recently served on the board of directors of Filtrbox (acquired by Jive Software Jan 2010). He is currently a Senior Director of Business Development (West Coast -USA, Asia and South Pacific regions) and a board member of TrueChoice Solutions (SaaS).
Prior to founding Giantstep Angel Network, John was a principal at Stonegate Partners (Early-Stage Private Equity and VC) in Boston, MA, and a former partner of Galaxy Theatres, Inc. based in Los Angeles.
John has an MBA from Pepperdine University.
