Aaron Gilman

Animation Supervisor, Weta Digital

Born in Montreal, Canada, Aaron Gilman discovered animation in 2000 at the age of twenty-seven. Since then, he has worked at all levels of the animation field in the computer games, television and feature film industries.

Since arriving at Weta Digital to animate on Avatar in 2008, Aaron has been a Lead Animator and Animation Sequence Supervisor on The Adventures of Tintin, and the Animation Supervisor on The Avengers. He is currently working as a Senior Animator on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and begun work on another unannounced project.
